Gang, I have a 2002 Z3 coupe and the Data Link (where the Diagnostic Reader (DR) connects to the car's computer) is not working. There's no response when I plug in my DR when there was only a couple of days ago, the last time I plugged in it. Can somebody tell me if there are any fuses involved which might have blown as the reason I'm not getting any response from it or can you suggest another? Dave W.

Try spraying it with some contact cleaner.

Are you using the round 20 pin obd in the engine bay with a 16 to 20 pin adapter.

I figured out that the problem was a blown fuse. When the instruments on the dash weren't working, it became quite obvious to me what the problem was. It's now fixed. Thanks for all your suggestions. DKW
