Need Help For 1998 Z3 2.8

Greetings to everyone from İstanbul...I am owner of 2.8 z3 roadster since 1998...Very clean, never seen rain, always in closed place and very low millage...After years the first problem was hood switch...I have fixed it..New issue is ; when alarm triggered hazard lights are flashing but there is no sound...I think after all that years alarm siren's battery must be dead...Meanwhile i have checked hood,doors and tailgate switches...Looks like they all works...But when i close the doors from remote, telltale lights flashes so quick and after 10 seconds it turns back normal speed...The question is; can dead siren battery causes this? Or do i have to search for another issue? Can anyone help me? Thanks in advance

From memory I’m sure this is normal but has been a while. Have you tried turning the siren on and off with your key? Check that the connection to the siren is secure but sounds like it could be time for a replacement but trying to find one with the little key is the challenge.

Thanks for your concern...Problem solved...I removed the siren and i saw that the siren batteries leaked...when i take it out flashing led problem finished too...So now i have to find special little rechargeable batteries and change the leaked ones

The quick flashing of the tell tail is because one of the door, bonnet/hood, or radio switches is not set correctly. The Bonnet/hood switch seems to be a common problem. You can unplug it and see if the tell tail work correctly. If it does then the bonnet/hood switch was the problem.
