Hi Guy's,

Since we had such a great time last year I wondered if anybody was going to the Classic Motor Show again this time around on either the 16,17 or 18 Nov? Maybe a Saturday trip again?

I am going, have been twice before (normally showing the Triumph)

so i am normally there from the Thursday night to the Sunday night and can honestly say i still never managed to see it all

This year i am going the Fri/ Sat/Sun, not showing the car so hope to see it all this year.

I suggested that I would think about and look into hotels in the area not with a thought to doing a Horwood House but just to making a suggestion so that people can hook up. The hotels really close are either full or cost the earth. But the premier inn at Shirley which is just 7 miles aŵay is still a reasonable price if you are prepared to pay up front and not be able to cancel it is £37 a night for the Saturday night. I think Saturday night is a good shout as I know MyRedZed plans on going Sunday (or at least he did at Santa Pod). And doing Saturday night would mean that a get together was on for Saturday night either for show on Saturday and stay over then travel home Sunday or travel Saturday do the show on Sunday or both days at the show etc.

What do people think?

I have been using this hotel for 4 years now, £117 for a twin room for three nights ( thur/ fri / sat )

and it is only 3 to 4 miles a 15 min bus journey from the nec.
