Write Up NC500 March 2018

Been enjoying some fantastic weather up here in Bonnie Scotland so thought I should post some pics to tempt anyone who hasn’t done this great route!

Some of the single track roads are a bit bumpy and you need a car with decent ground clearance. Bits have been ripped off the underside of some of the Porsche’s!

The little Z3 has kept up with the other cars really well!

Great grip from the Uniroyal Rainsport 3s too.

This route is on my to-do list. Done the west coast before but in the wrong car. The scenery is outstanding.

Glad to see you are enjoying the trip , yes some of the roads can be a bit unforgiving especially if you have to pull over and let anything past. We will be staying at Applecross for a couple of nights in June .Great pics, enjoy the rest of your journey.

Currently sat in BMW Perth - offside wheel bearing suddenly became very noisy but they’ve also spotted a near side front ball joint problem and recommended new ones along with bushes in both sides!

The NC 500 takes its toll!

Hopefully safe to drive back to Leicestershire.
