It's bad enough enough my mountain bikes and it's not happened with cars since the days of having multiple X1/9s! So settle in for a long one.
After selling my Supra, in Oct last year. I started to look at convertible. I decided on a Z3 and after narrowing it down I bought a very nice 3.0 sport. I gave it a full service, took the CD changer out of the boot and changed the boot trims to remove the bulge. Cleaned, recoloured and waterproofed the hood, sourced a tonneau cover and gave it a good clean and polish inside and out. To finish everything for now it is booked in for a full polybush fitting and
I thought that would be it...
Looking at what was about, I spotted a palmetto green 2.8 that stood out. Not my usual colour but it caught my eye and in the flesh I quite liked it. A deal was struck. Thanks Gareth. And I drove it home yesterday. I've already started on it. Sorted the leaking third brake light rubber, put some nicer wheels on. Old ones are for sale! Cleaned inside the wheel arches and all the shocks, brakes etc while the wheels were off and given all the trim a good fettle. More to come including a service and good detail, but here they both are for now, including a photo of the palmetto with the old wheels for comparison.
If you have gor this far, thanks and well done.

I picked the 3.0 up from the garage this afternoon after having a polybush upgrade on the suspension drive train etc. I use a local BMW specialist, JWS Developments, who have done a cracking job. I didnt think it rode bad before, but can really tell a difference and can't recommend them enough. There was a blue 1.9 Z3 there as well, anyone off here?
