Our Z3 has got us back safely from the NC500 despite issues with the front offside wheel bearing and front near side ball joint. It’s been treated to a wash and hoover.

Whilst we were away my wife caught her foot in the aerial wire that had come down from behind the dashboard. She nearly went flying but thankfully saved herself from an embarrassing and painful moment! Am I allowed to say it was funny? Probably not!

Whilst looking to thread it back I have noticed another wire and connector that has come down from the left hand side of the console which I’m hoping someone can identify please.

Whilst I’m asking favours, I also have another mystery wire dangling from the driver’s side of the console too. Help with this one would also be appreciated please!

Looks like another aerial type connection to me.

Thanks in anticipation!

Hope everybody’s having a nice Easter?

The black connector is for the clock as I guess yours has a OBC

The aerial type looks as if it is a DIN audio connector for a auxiliary input to the stereo.

Bring it round one evening and will have a look with you only 1/2 mile away.

Wow that’s really kind of you Brian, that would be great.

Is any particular evening/time best for you?
