I loved Anglesey Pete albeit it ways very wet when I was there, would love to do this in the dry.
I love cadwell but it comes a close second to Anglesey in my eyes. When you come flying round church at 110 mph+ then jump hard on the brakes for the sharp left hander, that is my favourite section of any track. Really technical but fun circuit. And you get two circuits for the price of one! I've never done anglesey in the rain, I can see it being slightly terrifying.

This is a great little vid from Thursday. I tried to catch a lovely Aston Martin but the zed just didn't have the legs. Great fun trying to catch it though :rally:. I pushed my poor little car harder than ever!

The car is on the H&R ARB's now. I can't say it makes it any quicker but after my experiences at Cadwell last Monday it definitely helps with stopping the tyres overheating. Here is a picture of one of my front wheels from 2016 with the car on standard ARB's:

I was lucky to get 10 laps before my front tyres overheated. It didn't happen once this time round. The car looks much more composed in the twisties. Here is a picture from Cadwell this year:

The car is much better balanced on the H&R ARB's, it drives more like a RWD should. The rear of the car breaks free before the front when you really push. Here is a cheeky little vid, this was one of my favourite track days ever!

Car looks really flat in the pic from Cadwell mate. Can I ask what parts you used please Pete, will likely be on my list before exhaust

H&R adjustable sway bar kit, highly recommended. I've got the front on it's softest setting and the rear in it's medium setting. This way it has no impact in the ride quality on our crappy pot hole ridden roads but still does the business when going through the twisties.

@TaffZee , this gives the car much more of a seat in the pants feel to it.

EDIT - I replaced the rear drop links as well. The front bar is easy to replace, the rear is a little trickier. I cut the drop links in situ, it made removing the old bar MUCH easier.

So, after the Z4 came this:

Lovely car, very precise, great agility and fairly quick (295 BHP) but ultimately quite boring. I learned how to heel toe in this car as it goes. Then came this:

FAST car, really really fast car (340 BHP), great sounding 5 cylinder engine, phenomenal DSG gearbox, lovely looking car and I know I'll regret selling it (for sale in January if any one fancies it) but it has to make way for this:

First impressions are that it is an unhinged lunatic that wants to kill me. Hopefully we can build on that in the coming months.

What is wrong with the M badge? I think it looks quite smart. It is an M after all. As far as I'm aware all Z4M's all came out of the factory with them fitted.

I was thinking of putting viper stipes and a massive aero wing on it actually.:p

Oh I see, I've had two 3.0's so I can see how that could be confusing. I should maybe get Gaz to change the thread title. Thanks for the heads up.👍
