DivideBYZero updated My Z3

A lovely Stirling Grey (472) Z3, one of the last off the line. Registered in the UK in September 2002, so on a 52 plate. Also comes with an LSD, one of the last non-M cars BMW shipped with an LSD option. Also has the much sought after Style 42 BBS RS740 two piece wheels.

Hi all need some help. I have a 2001 BMW Z3 2.5i with stock style 55 wheels. I have purchased some wheels BBS Style 42 17x 8 et20 RS 740 with tire size 235/45/17 and wondering what tire size I may use in the front vs the rear. I have been advised that although all 4 are the same size rim that I can use a staggered setup. I know I can use at the least 245/40/17 on the rear however how about the front ? I was told that I may use 205/215/225 one of these but don't know which anyone have any answers?
Here are the pics I took after installing them but I do notice the tires currently on them 235/45/17 rubs in the front inner splash guard. I have not even tried to drive because I do not want to damage the inner wheel well.

I do see that the front tire with 235 configuration sticks out about 1"inch. HELP...

:welcome: A 20 offset is too low for the front of the zed really hense the sticking out wheel you could stretch some tyres on there but what ever you do they will always stick out im afraid.
The lowest off set on a z3 is around 35 for the front max 8.5j rim ,the rear offsets can vary depending on which zed it is. If its the look you want then all is well.
