My Z3 named “Boggart”

My Z3 has an error code of P340 and P500 Camshaft position sensor and speed sensor respectively...when i change the spark plugs P500 error is gone only the p340 left indis try to change the camshaft (thanks to this forum) but its still there. Could it bec nec of the leak on d gasket cylnder or any more i should look out? It started when i broke my exhaust pipe(mended it) and over fill the oil a bit! Need help! And thank you for adding me! Gary! My Boggart is 1998 1.9 atlanta blue automatic Z3 on Black interiors! Roof dont work must be switch relay or the motor dont know yet! Love doing it manually! Much faster!

to the forum from West Cumbria. Your roof could also be the hydraulic reservoir in the boot. It may be that you are low on fluid or it may have been switched to manual mode on the pump via a 'T' key on it.

Hi @Ed Duay, to the forum from me too in Staffordshire. Re roof problem, also check the brake light switch and the microswitch in the roof. Best of luck.
