My new dash cam.

Wife gave me a early Bday present today in the shape of a NextBase 402G. I've had a cheap Chinese duel cam on the car for a couple of years now but it stopped working after about 14months. So this one will only cover the front and I will endeavour to get a second one to cover the rear in the future. Here's a pic of it still in the box, it comes with a user manual 40 page long and it looks very complicated to get the most out of it but does have a Witch recommendation so she's done me proud..

Hope to get some relief from the decorating so I can get it in and hard wired Tony, but you wouldn't believe the list of facilities this cam gives you. One of them is you can play a vid back after loading a programme in your computer and it links it to google maps and shows your route alongside the vid. It's gonna be a headache for me to learn but then I've got a couple of children who should be able to crack it with me.

My Dodd does the same. There are loads of different software for doing that its just which one is compatible. A good one is Datakam Player which has loads of different things you can do inside the Program.

ive got a nextbase one from halfords, was only 50 quid but has good picture quality & is discreet & ive had it over a year now with no issues

Yep, looks like she done her homework, think the WHITCH (@t-tony take note) recommendation swung it for her although she did say if it's not right I could change it. Quite happy with it, and if it's good enough for a Z4 then must be ok.(@jamie_z4)

Won't be seeing the t-s Z4 in front as I only overtake, but might get him on the rear view cam when I get one.
