When I "acquired" my garage Hoover there were no tools (attachments) with it, just the tube. I scrounged some old bits but the brush had seen better days and was tiny.
I saw a set of new tools on eBay for a fiver, a proper sized carpet brush (with bristles)

a small circular brush with longer softer bristles (ideal for doing around the dash, radio etc.

and lastly a shorter crevice tool ( heard them all thank you).

A bargain I reckon already roadtested on the oil burner and a quick clean on the Z's carpets.

Tony.

You must be copying me @t-tony as spent Tuesday mending our friends Dyson and putting our garage vac back together.

110v Makita wet and dry nearly lifts the carpet tiles off the floor. Only prob i have to carry the transformer out when i do the cars.

I just use yellow extension leads, and for the pressure washer (. 110v) extension hoses.
I have given up moving the heavy bits around, so the rechargeable Dyson also gets used.

I would do but 110 supply is in workshop bottom of the garden some 50m from the drive. Some fool (me) built an extension across the drive so i can't get past the house anymore.

When son put in a new garage base a couple of years ago we did think to put a 2" duct under drive and bring it up with a bend to get the power on later ---- even put the proverable blue cord in as we went.

We have regularly run 110v extension cables well over 100m on sites,my two longest cables must be over 50m each.

I even have yellow festoon cable in the garage, gets used occasionally, but getting short of screw bulbs now.
