So following the sale of T515 BJB I thought I'd start a new progress thread for its replacement LM04 DFY.
I acquired the car via the Z4Forum and thanks to the diligent efforts of its previous owner (Jim) the likelihood is that this thread won't see a lot of entries.
Anyway I purchased the car at the end of August on a lowly 58,000 miles and prior to that it had had the following notable jobs completed:

57,500 miles - all break lines replaced with stainless hoses and a set of new Bilstein B4’s fitted

55,500 miles - VANOS upgrade and new water pump fitted

55,000 miles - roof motor relocated, CDV delete, DISA valve upgrade and new battery fitted

54,500 miles - new set of style 224's supplied by Reifenprofi from Germany and fitted with Avon ZZ5's

54,000 miles - Brembo discs and pads all round along with new under trays

As I said not much to do other than enjoy but I'll add to the thread accordingly as and when any further activities are carried out

Well what can I say - that didn't last long and it's with some regret that LM04 DFY has been sold to another Z4Forum member.

He was really pleased with the car and the fact he was looking for one local to Torquay and with a red leather interior speaks volumes about the condition of LM04 DFY - he travelled over 4 hours to collect it from Sheffield and was more than happy with the oregon Black colour scheme.

Anyway I know he'll enjoy it and have many happy miles of motoring which just leaves me to sort out a suitable replacement

I used to, but on average my Zeds are hanging around for 6 years before I get the itch to change.

Tony.
