Muffler options

Hey all,

Still really enjoying my 2.5 2003 roadster!

I would appreciate a bit of exhaust note- most of the aftermarket options are pretty expensive.

The stock rear muffler is a unique design, has anyone successfully replaced the muffler with a free flow at a local exhaust shop?

The dinan looks decent, but it is 800 dollars for just the muffler.

It's more common now that people are going for custom built systems rather than an off the shelf system. I priced up a SuperSprint system from my Z3 a while back and it was around £1500/$2000 to replace everything including the cats backwards.

I will be going with a local custom made stainless system as soon as I get chance.
