I apologise if you have already read this review, I have posted it on some of the BMW and Car Enthusiast forums and Social media pages that I am quite active on.
I am shocked that a company that relies on reputation has so little integrity when dealing with a new customer.
My story goes like this…
I was looking on line for a Eventuri Intake for a Z4M and there were a number of companies that offered them at a price of £660.00. MStyle where actually advertising at £659.00 and with 12 months interest free credit. This obviously a better option than the credit card. I phoned Mstyle and they told me there would be a week lead time.
I then noticed that some companies were offering the Intake in a red Kevlar instead of the black carbon at the exact same price as the black carbon, so I again phoned M Style to find out if they could supply this. They phoned me a couple of days later and told me that after some research that they could get the red one but it would be £689.00 an increase of £30. I asked if they would price match as advertised but they said they wouldn’t because I was using the 12 months free credit. This is indeed in the small print. I agreed to the terms and they sent the finance forms and took my deposit. Finance was approved and put in place.
Then a couple of days later MStyle phoned me and told me that they couldn’t supply the red one and the only option was the standard black one. I took them at their word and asked if they would refund the £30 mark up, as the original product advertised at £659.00 was the one I was receiving. At this point they said the £30 (I live in the nottingham) was now a delivery charge, and the lead time on the standard black one was going to be two weeks.
They also said they would advise me of shipment updates, I have not heard a thing since paying my deposit 2 weeks ago.
I actually received the item the day i wrote this..no notifications or updates...
So in short, they have broken promises, charged me extra, and have shown a great disregard to customer services.
If you do not require the 12 months interest free finance, I would defiantly advise going to a more reliable retailer that has integrity and wishes to build relations with enthusiasts.
