After the trip to Santa pod a couple of weeks ago where I got just over 40 mpg out of my 3.0 sport steptronoc which seemed a little unbelievable I decided to try another run

Had a car day booked at Loughborough which is a 270 mile around trip, filled the car and attacked the M25 then the M1 where I averaged a steady 70 to 80 mph, a little traffic as you would expect but generally ac learn run up and down

So when I filled up at my local garage upon my return I chucked in £44:75 @ £1.35 per litre

So my calculations works out that I averaged 37mpg !!! That can't be bad for a 3.0 sport can it ??

Oh also for you petrol heads I got to drive a Lamborgini Balboni, a Ferrari 458 Itailia and a McLaren MP4-C12

I'm astounded at how you get that mpg and with an auto too at 70-80mph. Pretty amazing...

Or did you mean km/h?!!!

Auto's don't do to bad, even better if you have cruise control. (I have it but have never used it)

We get similar from our 3.0 auto and once the auto is in 5th the converter locks up and no slip at all.
