Got a nice comment on how tidy the car is for a 14 year old :D

Mine went through on Wednesday of last week as well.

I was a bit worried because the airbag light is on (non air bag wheel) and the halo lights, but the tester said that neither was a problem and the airbag light is not a fail at the moment because the issue is going through the courts. I didn't push it, just very happy to get the ticket in my hand.

No advisories either, but he did warn me that it may be a good idea to change the plates for ones with a "legal" font before the start of the test!

Mine failed because I wanted to use the last 0.1mm of tyre tread, but 1.7mm was too low for him to pass and I wasn't going to argue about it. Two new rear tyres and a free retest later und alles gut.

In all honesty, a fail doesn't matter, nor do advisories. There should be a stat recorded of how many cars fail and are not repaired. I would be willing to bet that not one of the 20,000 Z3s will be in that category, as they are all still worth fixing.

Congrats, all the same. A first time pass is a good reflection on the owner.
