Well Zelda needed her MOT done so booked into the garage that I always use great people known then for years, dropped her of this morning Gary said come back in an hour she should be done:), so returned in the hour and to quote Jan in reception sorry Baz she has failed :nailbiting: bloody hell what on, the reply was its not good news she went on to read out the faults which involved suspension bushes and trailing arms, handbrake fault & brake pipes both CV boots two Tyre's and a couple of other things by this time I'm thinking bloody hell anyway
I was told the bill would be £928 I did point out that she had new Tyre's all round about 6 months ago Jan suspected I had been down a pot hole as two of the Tyre's had bulge's in them so I was not best pleased:eek:
so told the garage to go ahead and repair her, left the garage a little dismayed as the car has never had an advisory let alone a failure, and certainly could not remember driving into any pot holes:rage:
so started walking back home when I received a call from the garage (Jan) apologizing profusely she had given me the wrong readout from another BMW =)) oh how we laughed at the garage and by the way Jan is blonde
me happy bunny again Zelda passed with no advisories as usual:scorecard:

Did the garage go ahead with the £928 of work on the other car - on your instructions? :D

Bloody Hell Bazza bet that was a relief

Bloody hell, you couldn't make it up Bazza! I'd have been in tears lol. Good news in the end tho.

Dave when she was telling me the list of faults my eyes may have welled up=))

Excellent story Baz made be giggle....good news for you - not so good for the other BMW driver.

How easy is to jump from a rainy day to a clear sky!:) Seems that with car it's easier...imagine this situation with a doctor diagnostic...some people comit suicide on such error :(

Yoiks Baz, what a story=)). I bet your heart sank when she said Zelda had failed. then dropped even further when she read out the list of failures. Good news eventually though, have a couple of Guinness' to celebrate or a couple of bottles of red - your choice;)
