I’m sure it will fly through, but good luck anyway!
When I take mine its half a mile walk over the Uni bridge to Maccy D's.

Well mine never happened!!!!
went back after an hour … car hadn’t moved … now two workvans and a hire car now in front on mine so got the key and came home !!!
Find somewhere in the next week as doesn’t expire till the 14th
Mot guy was late in apparently so mine got moved down the queue !!!!!!

MOT this morning...........Passed 
With Advisories.......
Item 1......my sat nav was in the bottom RH corner of the windscreen.... and obscures the bonnet ( mostly)
item 2.....whats that ?? it doesn’t like getting up in the morning ....???
Item 3. ....ok fair enough......looks like a saturday morning trip to Basingstoke
Item 4....both perishing ??? They were bought two years apart as I had a blow out on the nearside one and had a new one fitted
Item 5 ....its a stainless steel system ??????
Item 6......F*** O** its my Roadster Logo.
Item 7......I am surprised but ok .............( Holly ...I have a job for you)
Item 8......They are a bit s*** and been meaning to rejuvenate them with a polishing kit
When I queried a couple of these I was told that advisories are only the testers opinion........well keep your f****** opinions to yourself in future

With reference to item 8 , has anyone come across a good source of Z3 aftermarket light units which fit well , give good light and meet UK MOT regulations? I’m not interested in anything bling just a satisfactory replacement without paying the value of the car.MOT this morning...........Passed

Polish the headlights and fit Osram.nightbreaker bulbs. It's as good as you will get.
Also ask the MOT station when they last polished the lenses on their bloody machine? Most likely never and believe me it does make a difference. I did the machine where I used to work.

Definitely polish the headlights. The kit I have uses a polishing pad with a drill attachment. 30 minutes and they will be as good as new, the transformation can be miraculous. As for the logo on the rear brake light I have one and it's never been mentioned.
There is no need to mention the high level brake light. It isn't a testable item as such.
I had one on my Z3 for 6 years, my E85 for the same and this car for over a year. I've been followed by Police vehicle several times and never been pulled for it.

I know I bought the logo from Tony a long time ago and its had at least 3 MoTs and never been mentioned !!!

1. Fair enough zed has a small screen and you shouldn't have presented it with stuff attached to it ( I would have done same)
2 . Would suggest poor adjustment to offside shoes
3. Indicates some service work on brakes or hydraulic side required.
4. Could be cracking depending on make but probably over zealous
5. Nonsense no need to mention If no leaks and not noisy
6. Nonsense not testable item
7. Bushes and balljoints common so probably on way out.
8. Headlight also common zed issue ( you will know how cloudy lenses are) usually a Headlight resto kit should sort.
