Call me old fashioned but not wanting to take advantage of the government extension and booked car in for its annual MOT.
Gave the car a check over this morning and to my surprise both number plate lights out, £2.70 later bulbs replaced and all fine
Fingers crossed, one thing for sure will not have the emissions problem i always had with the Z3
Still think its good value at £50 for a full safety check

Had ours done yesterday and got the Certificate i require
Good luck for tomorrow Paul

Can’t see you having anything but a “Pass” there Paul.

Tony.

Finally got the bill for the MOT plus work
Drained and Filled Diff (I supplied Oil) fitted cracked rear spring
Charged me £50 for MOT, £66 for the spring plus 1 hours labour (£35) for the Diff and the spring total bill including test and VAT £166
Think i got away lightly?

I'd have been happy at that.

Shouldn't springs be replaced in pairs?

Shouldn't springs be replaced in pairs?
I asked the same question and was assured that its not the case, but given the choice would have asked them to fit a pair. May be something to save for when Zed sheds back up and running
