Morning all,

Some of you may already know me from other Z4 related places, I normally run under DavesZed, or AnubisZed on the forums or by my own name David Harrison on the Facebook groups.

I own a 2011 23i Z4 in grey which was pretty basic when I bought it. Since then I've added full electric seats, upgraded OEM headunit, SmartTop, Android screen and what most will know me for, cruise control of which I made the cruise control retrofit video and guide on my YouTube channel.

I like retrofitting OEM items, and have plenty of scope on mine, so will post various stuff up as I go. Currently fitting auto-dim interior mirror, auto-lights/wipers, full PDC and about to start with an iDrive retrofit along with my Android screen, so loads of projects to be getting on with.

I'll post some photos up when I'm on my pc

Just to let you e89 owners know, David recently fitted Cruise Control to my e89, the only thing missing I wanted, at what I must say was a very reasonable price. If you want any OEM electronics added to your E89 he is the go to guy. He has a very good knowledge of these cars and is an all round nice bloke, I highly recommend him.

Yes I fit cruise control for the e89, but before I go about advertising it on here I'll speak to Gaz first.

Yeah it's odd really, it's the same stalks as the e9x and e8x series but the e9x seem to be almost all fitted with cruise from the factory but it was an option on all e89's! Obviousley some ordered it from the factory, but for the others, and if they want it now, I'm here lol

Nice motor @DavesZed and you are obviously somebody to know for E89 owners. Welcome from Derbyshire.
Most cars I've had for years have had cruise control, but I just hardly, if ever,used it. I can't see the point in the UK where we are constantly changing speed and gear. I appreciate that in the USA for example, with miles of straight roads it is very useful, but even when we lived in Spain with relatively quiet motorways I didn't use it.

It can be a pain if you're following an idiot not driving to the speed limit but it takes a click to resume?
