Was forced to take the '96 Z3 to work the last several days. The wife's car is being repaired and she is driving the Toyota pick-up because its an automatic and I was forced to take the Z. It's funny that I say "forced", as I really enjoyed driving it. Even though I've owned it almost 2 years this July, I've only driven it about 400 miles (is this worse than BMG?) and that includes the first trip up from Baltimore. Today is the third day in a row I've driven it. It rained half that time (ouch). But what a blast driving it. I'm am reluctant to drive it as, after getting the ///M, I'm going to sell this, and as its in such great condition, I don't want anything to happen to it before I sell it. I came home yesterday with the top down and coming out of the parking garage, several of my work mates looked at me with their jaws dropped as they didn't know I have this and just drive the pick-up. When I got home, I put the top up only to hear a slight 'clunk' from the inside of the car. I looked in the car and saw that the rear view mirror decided to fall off the windscreen. I thought "Oh God, things are going to start to happen!!" I glued it back on and its fine now. The only thing I really hated about the whole thing was leaving my baby in the parking garage on the 10th floor all alone............................

Your parking spaces are a lot bigger than ours are Frankie. You could open your door and still be inside the lines.

Nice pictures Frankie. I bet you had a bigger smile on your face going to work in the Z than when you drive the truck?;)

Tony.

Take the M to work Frankie, give em really something to talk about. Your lucky with the rear view mirror because I knocked mine off with my elbow and it took a piece of the internal layer of glass off, cost me new windscreen.

Yeah!! Take the /// M into work and do doughnuts the way Hugh taught you!! He did show you as it's a required move when you own a ///M. Then watch their jaws hit the ground! You lucky bas:;(d you!! Keep both Zeds and sell the 325 convert, you should do well selling it!! Just a thought! JIM
