That's me now got my car back after 9 weeks away ( the guy was doing the work on his spare time)

including a good layer of dust

so a quick jet wash and a drive to see how it went

At the back now have :

New shocks
New shock top mounts
New subframe bushes
tyres all round
disks all round
pads, shoes , brake springs
hand brake cable

Car now feels good but i am still getting a clicking noise from the back, especially on roads with a switch in camber

also feels a little loose ( it is a 1.9)

any ideas?

If you rock the car from side to side whilst stationary can you hear the clicking?

Strange that you should hear that, you have changed the key components.

hopefully its not that stupid ball they use in the fuel tank as overflow protection!
 
Steve when you get a chance find yourself a hammer and tap the fuel tank passenger side to see if it rattles i very much doubt it is the tank because it does not click.

Seeing as he has changed all the major components there is very little to go wrong. My only suggestion would be to check the brake dust cover has not been slightly bent causing it to touch the brake disc, this can happen when the rear subframe is off because it’s a very heavy item. Also check your rear wheel bearings. (Jack the car up spin the wheel and try rocking the wheel side to side and see if you have any play)

Take the drivers seat out and have a look underneath, could be something loose
