A huge thanks to @Paul&Di, @bertiejaffa, @Bozzy, @AleNod, @Mark Parrish, @VV54, @Rod and Kate, @Oldguysrule and @andyglym for making the journey to our meeting point at Costa Coffe in Uttoxeter, Staffs:thumbsup:. We met at 09:00 for a quick chat before moving off at 09:30 for the first leg of our days drive out. We set off with roofs down and battled with the low cloud and drizzle up on the top roads to the west of Longnor but roofs stayed down all the way to our first stop at The Yonderman Cafe. After being refreshed with teas and coffees [and cake, you know who you are;)] we set off again but after a few miles the weather turned against us and some [most] of us put our roofs up. Our lunch stop was at the Oil Can Cafe up at Holmfirth. The next leg down to a loo stop at Baslow saw the weather improve so the last leg back to Costa was completed roof down.
We lost one car due to a faulty alternator, but the RAC were there within 30 minutes to help out.
Overall a great day on some lovely roads with excellent company, but not the views I had when I did the recce last Wednesday.
A few photos from me ...

A great run and well executed Dave, appreciated. 75% of the day was roof down too, which was nice. Good to see old faces again. 540 miles in the bag. Pulled into the Services on the M6 after looking at what I was about to drive into, roof up. Jesus Mary and Joseph WTF  Not seen rain like that for years, my wipers are absolutely exhausted 😴

Glad @Kate and rod got back OK, a great service from the RAC

Glad you had a good run even though the weather didn't play ball everywhere. My sister lives on the west side of the Peak and says it rained all day, but here on the east it was sunny, 25 degrees, until about 6pm!
A mixed bag but the weather Gods were with us ..... mostly

Nice to see everyone and thanks to Dave and Pauline for inviting us to this run (or what we did of it🤣) we were back home in York less than couple of hours after you all rudely abandoned us, Top gear style 😁.

This was our view at one point, could only see Paul and Di in front, no sign of Dave and Pauline.

and from the rear Bozzy and Amy only just. Note top down despite being up in the clouds tho . If you really zoom in you can see them honest
