Out solo today, so no planned route just headed North. No stops for coffee and cake just a top down drive out for the pure pleasure of the drive in glorious sunshine. Can't beat The Peaks in the sun.
Up in the frozen North today for 3.5hrsLucky bugger, I was putting new pads and discs on the daugters Corsa, happy to swap any time.
Not noticed that but then again I always join Strines from the Bolsterstone side then turn off left over Ladybower towards HathersageWell done Dave, ditto although left a bit later and headed South ! No photos, the Yonderman had limited cakes left but the Lemon Drizzle cake was excellent!
Driving towards home along Strines as dusk approached with the roof down can be recommended !
Although. Has anyone turned on to Strines from the Ladybower side lately. There's new kerbing on the left hand side. Looks quite nice but it sits really proud. Then you realise there's not much tarmac left on the other side of the road for cars coming towards you. I think someone is going to scratch an alloy if you have a big 'un coming the other way . . .
Yep I did the last few miles with my lights on. Excellent....Driving towards home along Strines as dusk approached with the roof down can be recommended !
Would have been a shame to waste the day doing chores around home...Nice one Dave, perfect day for it ...
mmm let me think about that for a moment Niall........................nopeLucky bugger, I was putting new pads and discs on the daugters Corsa, happy to swap any time.

Certainly was Tony...I can certainly think of worse ways to spend a day Dave. Looks glorious in the sunshine mate...
I'd like to say yes Toby, but no Pauline was playing in her sewing room. I did ask if she wanted to come too....So Dave out on your own ? Is that because there's no cake n coffee stop ?? Still looks a great day
I'd like to say yes Toby, but no Pauline was playing in her sewing room. I did ask if she wanted to come too.
True Ken, but the heater in the Z3 is magnificent plus with the heated seat I was toasty. A brilliant day...Lovely day , but brass monkey weather!...
Yes but not much point at the moment round here. It would be filthy again in 50 yards.... And today i suspect is just you and your jet washer ...
Arghhh yes, out in the sticks, well it's a good pay off mate.Yes but not much point at the moment round here. It would be filthy again in 50 yards.
