Firstly and foremost as it leaks a bit of water, is there any way to fix this tear on the gasket? I can't seem to fight the part number or anything...

Secondly, I think my leather behind the instrument cluster was installed wrongly at some point in the car's life... is there any way to fix it at home?

The leather wasn't wrongly installed, it's shrunk due to the heat from the sun over it's life. My car is the same

I guess it makes sense that it has shrunk over 21 years but I cannot understand what those holes are.

I thought that those holes were the ones holding it in place and they were misplaced so if I opened the instrument cluster I could push it back inside or something 😁

Oh well, I guess I'll live with it, at least I am glad it's not only me...
