Mini-Meet In Sunny Kent/Sussex

We had a lovely day out today with Larry & Penny [Zedona] taking advantage of possibly the last of the warm sun this year. Dungeness which is usually chilly was positively balmy. We then drove a lovely scenic route with sweeping bends, perfect for our Zeds, through Kent & East Sussex.

We ended up at Filching for an absolutely superb 3 course roast dinner. :eating Some pictures of the day.

Did you spot your Dakar yellow in the big Zed of Zeds pics that Muppet won the BMW Mag comp with? It shows how few were there at a glance! B-)

Thanks for your comments about the pictures I have Mrs Ragtop to thank for those.

Mike, yes I did see Muppets picture taken at Silverstone in the Straight Six magazine, lovely picture, a worthy winner, what a weekend we had. I can see our Dakar in with most of the Horwood group. We also managed to chat to Brian & Paul, owners of the 2 other Dakar Z3's there.

Gary I will certainly you more notice about next years Kent cruise.

Lovely pics Ron. Has your z got lowering springs? The first couple of pics makes your car look really low.

The Zed was like that when I got it 2 years ago Brian. As it is a 2.2 sport it would have been lower than non sport models but a previous owner had lowered it a bit more.
