Hi All.
one of our members kindly posted an Ebay add for a battery Z3 kids ride on.
Well I went & bought it its collected & work commenced last week with a strip down.
Body off trims off & chassis inspection.
I'll be repairing the body the battery responded to a recondition motor runs but I have plans to put in a speed controller rather than the cluncky on/off peddle & maybe look at a better breaking system.

spares for these little cars are not difficult to find but the roll hoop will need fabrication out of something if anyone has any ideas I'm scratching my head for a solution for this.
Here I hope are some pic's.

Happy Zedding

Nice little project to get your teeth into. Reference the hoops can you not use a pipe bender and use ally conduit you can get them in 15 mm 20mm and 25mm. Just a thought

I'm thinking similar to billz but steel conduit, a 20mm steel conduit hoop will be robust, you can get the conduit in black or galvanised. I have a conduit bender etc. If you choose this route let me know and we can see if we can. Knock something up.

Cheers all for the replies & advice, I was thinking of the conduit route as it's only for decoration I hope it won't get rolled!. I need to repair the body where the hoop goes & add something a bit more robust as the original looks like for got pulled out.
Co nudity that's a new term Brian =)).

Surely for authenticity you need to check your local breakers for a wrecked i8 and get the running gear from that. Will give just about enough poke...

You know this Z modding business is serious when you start customising a toy version!

So who is going to be the driver??!
