That's some proper mileage that. Trouble free being a Skoda too I suspect?

250000? I went to scrap the E36 today (been in the family for over a decade) and I thought that was high mileage at 180000!!

250000 is remarkable!

My seat alhambra had 316243 on the clock when i sold it 207000 of them done by me over 7 years
Thinking the skoda the way its running just now could easily surpass that worked out my mpg tonight for my run to Great Yarmouth 427miles down 4 up boot loaded full tank average 56.7 mpg return 55.8 not too shabby for 250k.
Andy its had a couple of moments 221k dual mass failed so new clutch and flywheel 249k misfire traced to faulty injection loom changed that 2 weeks ago so slightly worried about big run but all was good

and apart from discs and pads shocks and front suspension kit .
The rest original springs bearings calipers exhaust brake pipes uses no water and very little oil so it might be 13 yr old and have mega miles but runs great so can see it going beyond 300k with me :)

Always makes me cringe seeing that wiring loom running inside the rocker housing in oil Steve. But amazingly very little trouble.

Tony.

That's quite impressive.

I was beginning to worry about my LR Freelander at about 105k. Now done 130+k and the engine sounds sweet enough for an oil burner.
Some of the electrical/electronics bits are beginning to fail though - AM radio, rear screen wiper, Sat Nav is doing some odd things but still navigates OK... All essential to me. Might have to get them sorted.
