One night in keswick on Tuesday, followed by two nights in Ulverstone.
After a wet start on the way there, the weather was fantastic thereafter .
On Wednesday we did Hard knott and wynrose passes, roof down all day of course.
Had a very tight squeeze past a 3 wheel Morgan and a stone wall at one point, just caught his front mud guard with my rear tyre .
Stopped in a very scenic spot for a picnic and a cuppa just before the tight twisty hard knot .
A few pics from me. @le frog has loads more he might add.
Even the drive home was great, can't remember the road number but it's the one that links the lakes with Yorkshire via Hawes, which is where we stopped for refreshments and was extremely busy there.
When we joined the A1 south we couldn't help notice how busy the opposite carriage way was, all 3 lanes full to bursting and stationary for most of it. Luckily we had a clear run home .
