    This is the 1968 MGB prototype that just didn't make it, rather nice I would suggest? .......and to think the car that did get produced instead was the TR7 :facepalm:. Only trouble was BL was going to use the Maxi engine and gearbox soooo maybe all ended well ;)

    From the side it looks like a Lancia Stratos but with smaller wheels. It looks too stylish for a BL production

    Just imagine how that would have turned out with BMC/BL's lack of development and general shoddiness of the time. Think of the fun to be had working on the mid-mounted Maxi engine and transmission.....
