Meguiars My Review

Well i used the Meguiars Ultimate Polish for the first time and this is what i found. Black Coloured Z4
You need to do what it says in the instructions.
Do a little area then buff off
If this polish is put on more than one panel at a time it is very hard work to take off and buff up and when completed you have to go over the panel time and time again to get the panel back to how it was before using.
I put this on the Bonnet, wings and rear end then took off (never read the instructions), when i had finished there were smear marks still on the paint and i had to use my PH Neutral quick detailer to get the bonnet spot on.
If done as per the instructions then it is ok but I have to admit i will not use this again as i can get a better finish with the Menzerna Final machine polish putting it on by hand and buffed off a panel at a time, again this is very hard to take off if doing more than one panel at a time but does not leave the smear marks.
The Meguiars Ultimate Polish is for doing a full final polish of the Car
Do not use it if you just want to give the car a quick polish as the Meguires Ultimate requires time to do, due to you only being able to a small section at a time
I will for a quick wash and polish stick to the AG Super resin if i just need to give the paint a top up and if i want to spend my time giving the Z a proper polish then i will use the Menzerna Final finish polish before waxing.

Like you Bill I use Menzerna for machine polishing but then I use a hard wax to seal in the shine.
I also use A.G polish occasionally and it's brilliant stuff.
The high definition A.G car wash is really good also but expensive.

I'm tired now just thinking about washing and polishing . Off for a lie down .

I use either the Menzerna Ultra Finish Plus or 3M Ultrafina when doing a full body polish either by hand or DA and just use the AG Polish if i am pushed for time
Always finish off with either Swissvax Shield or Chemical Guys Petes 53 Black Pearl.
I have to admit the Petes 53 gives a lot better beading than the Swisszax and is considerably cheaper and has more carnauba in
