Mega spot in Spain!

Driving up the gorge to Bocairent this morning when a convoy of zeds came down the road ! Quickly turned round in the hope of seeing them again. Great to find them at the bottom of the gorge in the Pou Clar car park. They belong to a Spanish BMW car club.I gave them a card and they gave me their details which are on facebloke.

I think so Steve, they were very interested. Their 'Club' is just on facebuk, they seem to run it much the same as Zroadster.

I'm off to Spain on Tuesday (Mazarron) to stay with old friends for a few days who have recently moved down there. Driving the Z3 of course.

If there are any Spanish Z3 clubs we have a contact for, would be interested to know.

@Ianmc this group were from Alicante and were off on a trip, next stop Jaen. As I said, I'll try to contact them next week when I' m back in the uk.They should be back home then as well.

@Ianmc , Marrazon, that's a good drive . Which route are you taking? We usually come through Bilbao and return via Santander because ferry times suit us. Driven through France many times, but when you're trying to get A to B quickly it's a pain and worse at night when everything is shut! Hope you have a great trip.

Thanks @Z Victor 1 . On overnight ferry Tuesday to Le Havre. Should arrive about 0830 Wednesday. Very rough outline plan is head South (Le Mans, Tours/Poitiers) on to San Sebastian, then Valencia, Murcia and destination Mazarron. Aiming to stay off motorways/toll roads as far as possible. I have a week off, (unfortunately my wife hasn't) so travelling extremely light. Only milestones are expected in Mazarron sometime Friday, planning to stay with friends two nights, leave sometime Sunday and catch return ferry at 1700 on Tuesday 3rd. Accommodation for the journey is what I can find or sleeping bag in car! Haven't travelled like this for longer than I care to remember, so looking forward.

Wow, that's a lot of motorway driving in the zed.Hope your air con is ok ! It's blistering hot here from about 10 am to 7 pm. Safe journey.
