McGregor v Mayweather

Whats everyone's thoughts on this match up?

Looking forward to it me, and my £££ will be on McGregor.

Mayweather gets a lot of stick for running in the ring and I feel he will try and use this fight to show he can take a fight to an opponent rather than run & counter, which will be his downfall, he does that and Conor will hurt him.

I also heard McGregor say when he beats him he will give him a rematch ... in the Octagon
There's NO WAY he would fight McGregor in MMA rules...that would be suicide for MoneyMadMayweather.

McGregor has some confidence in his ability to face an undefeated champion of Mayweather's stature.
I can't wait

My heart wants all of the above.
But my head, and mayweathers ego, knows it'll be another Floyd boxing lesson.
He won't throw his entire career down the pan now and risk a loss.
He will keep it boring till Connor is tiring and then knock f*ck out of him imo haha.

I can't wait but as with all of his fights I think it'll be a big let down..

I think Floyd "money" Mayweather might love the money more than his legacy. If this circus is a straight out and out bout then Mcgregor has a punchers chance obviously...but I suspect with so much greed and wealth worship going on somebody (maybe Floyd) will execute a very well acted out foul(my "money" is on a butt and a cut possible elbow) leading to controversy leading to the rematch clause... Leading to more obscene amounts of money.

What is very clear is that UFC and MMA in general are going to be the big winners as this hype will draw in new punters due to the cartoon swaggering antics of Mcgregor thus diminishing the draw of Boxing in future....

So you could say that Money Mayweather is shamelessly taking the money out the purses of unknown, yet to be champions... He's raping and pillaging his own sport... He's a disgrace to be honest...Mcgregor is doing his best to mimic Mayweathers crass attitude to wealth....and the nasty thing is people seem to love it? Don't get me wrong, love boxing and enjoy MMA, but I hate the BS that goes with it, if you want this pantomime go and watch wrestling.

I have to say, the 4 day press tour was a circus and reminded me of WWE.
I hope UFC doesn't continue with that sort of circus and hope this is just a one off being a unique event.

Yes many if not most big boxing fights don't live up to the hype,
I personally don't enjoy boxing anymore. Once you have watched Mike Tyson fights nothing can live up to or compare.
