Just a quick one, has anyone tried fitting mazda rx8 seats in a z3, found some at a great price

Not heard of anyone trying those before. Usually the issue with other manufacturers seats are that they are too big to fit in.

I had a look at putting rx8 seats in a little while back, right before I stumbled across a very decent priced set of sports seats for my Z.

I found a very thorough article/how to for it also - I'll look for it again for you now. It seemed like a lot of work to get them to fit, and they also looked very big in the car iirc.

So, I've had a look and I'm sorry to say I've been mistaken... I was actually referring to this link here:

Which contains a very detailed 'how to' for fitting RX-8 seats in an MX-5.

I still found it useful to gauge the size, and how they'd look. I hope you do too. Good Luck!

Very good write up even though it proved they did not before hand, and after they still did not fit, looked crap and provided no benefit, the moral of the story for Zed owners, buy some nice sport or //M seats there plug and play and look the dogs.......
