Was a lovely day. That almost looks like somewhere in Europe with no hedges to the field.

Not miles away Tony its more Selby/Goole way .Rawmarsh is Near Wath upon Derne near Rotherham i think.
Its all great countryside around here little villages and long open stretches of road to the next one.

Many many years ago, (just in case the missus reads this) I had a holiday romance with a lady from Wath upon Dearne and I think I tried a couple of those corn fields;)

Looks like you had a good run out, can't fault you:thumbsup:. I got the day off today as my van's in the garage for an mot and service so after doing as much paper work as i could stand i couldn't resist going for a spin and ended up at cadwell park as i saw some thing on here about a track day for beemers. It looked good fun and wish i'd booked on to it but never done a track day in a car. Saw a few Z 3's and 4's,Z3 coupe and a Z3 M. If any of you were there i wouldn't of known as i'v only been on here a few weeks

Nice car and great pics. I particularly liked this pic of the car and the open road ahead. The view suggests to me the lure of the open road ahead and the desire to use a great car that's pictured to satisfy that desire:

@Brian4 quote: "............. with no hedges to the field."
I must admit that I had some troubles driving there on the other side of the road. (My God, has it been a year already since I was there to see some of you guys?) I have to tell you that driving roads with no open shoulder to pull over to, and high hedges on either side unnerved me to a degree. Our roads usually have places to pull over ( I almost said 'pull off') in an emergency unless its in the mountains or a place where its not possible to have a shoulder to the road, or a center safety strip between lanes. I believe your roads mandate UK drivers to operate on a higher level of skill and attentiveness than the average driver in the US. Frankie, wishing I was there now.

Yes it was Tony. Brilliant day and the car ran beautifully, never missed a beat, although the brakes were hot and smelly after my trip out with the instructor. Power, power, power, brake brake brake harder was his mantra. Great fun.:D
