The following pictures are of a 2003 1.4 skoda fabia.
Car came in on a wagon non runner nearside front tyre flat driver said it had a fluid leak also.
Owner said he got a puncture and bumped up a pavement have a look see what you think .
I've highlighted stuff just to make easier to see start from rear of car

1. Spare wheel carrier has bit of a ding in it
2. Rear exhaust cracked open at backbox

3. Exhaust centre section dented
4. Heatshield bent and twisted.

Now start to get into the fun stuff

5. Heatshield torn open
6. Exhaust missing a bit (come back to that)
7. Bracket bent and twisted

8. Not so easy to see but suspension arm and subframe both bent

9. What's left of the sump
10. Lower stabiliser mount and bracket bent and twisted

11. Remains of front pipe bent into sump
The missing piece of exhaust is pretty much the whole catalytic converter.
The wet look in all the pictures is oil entire underside covered.
As you can probably guess car a scrapper engine siezed and extensive underside damage.

All I can say is must have been some pavement

Im sorry but I'm going to have to defend skoda here .
My 52 plate skoda superb has been a trusted servant and now sits with over 248k on clocks looks and runs mint takes me all over west coast Scotland with work and down to Great Yarmouth a couple of times a year so i can't really say a bad word against it.

i didnt say it was bad Ste in fairness they are a bullet proof car, i had the B5 A4 before and they are the same base, best feature was the gearbox for me, lovely transition through the gears. Just having a go here mate

I grew up with old school skoda (never owned one ) But i remember all the old jokes like
Q.Why do skoda's have heated rear screens ?
A. To keep your hands warm while your pushing it home .

they got a bit more flack than they should have in fairness Stevo, but sure anyone that had one was laughing
had to laugh at a guy one day in the motor factors looking for a service kit for his Super B, took us a while to cop that he was talking about his Superb

Wondering how you can do tt much damage without ripping the wheels off.
Might take some explaining to the insurance.

Takes me back about 20yrs and a guy local to me was racing down a dual carriageway and couldn't stop at an island. He ploughed over a high curb, through a flower display and then through railings and into a bus stop. Luckily, as it was late at night there wasn't anyone around.

Car chase - police involved - skoda mounts central reservation and takes lights, posts and everything else out in its way - as long as no one is injured!
