M44 z3 squeak in “parcel shelf area”

Hi, I took my z3 out yesterday to mates funeral as an homage to his love of his mx5. Lovely sunny day to send him off. Anyway as I bought it without a mot didn’t get to drive it but now it’s mot’d let the fun begin!!! Whilst driving it there is a squeaking sound from behind the head rests, am I right in thinking this is most probably the suspension too mounts? And if so, any recommendations/ upgrades before replacement. Thank you for any assistance.

There's not much back apart from seat belt reels and tops of the shock absorbers. Athough squeeks do have a habit of sounding like they're coming from somewhere else. A squeek from the shock bottom bush could travel up and sound like it's at the top.

Stand by the car and push down on a rear wing to see if it squeeks. Squirt a bit of wd40 onto each bush to see if you can track it down.
