Not recommended from what I have read. Aftermarket not good qualty. You are better off with secondhand in my view if you want to save pennies.

If you want to go that route PM me as I have a spare.

For thread information to remove disa valve on a M44 first remove 10mm nut ( top right ) this will allow the dipstick tube to be moved just out the way.
Underneath the tube bracket another 10 mm nut ( double threads to secure disa and distinct top right only) then remove the other 2 10mm bolts in position as arrowed above.
Once all bolts out with a bit of a wiggle it should withdraw from manifold.
Once loose withdraw a little to allow access to multiplug on the bottom left

Multiplug is removed by pushing the metal bar on plug in towards centre of plug and withdraw it.
Once plug off you can fully remove disa.
To do so on mine required just to pull back the abs pump a mm or so to squeeze disa past it so withdraw turning towards front of car will come out

refitting is reverse of removal.

I watched a video on refurbishing an m44 disa and after watching it and dismantling my faulty one concluded that I could do cheaper as from what i had watched overhaul consisting mainly with diaphragms replaced .The electric motor as long as working does not get touched ( upon inspection appears to be a sealed piece so no access without cutting the back off it)
