Me too, it's good to know we will have another zroadster forum to come over to should the worst happen. :D
 
I would tell you all the great features the new forum software has, but it will make you sad when you can't use them on the old site ;)

I really hope Tim sees sense and allows James to host the site and upgrade it. Fingers crossed chaps.

I like what I hear Gary, as you say on .net, this could be a win/win situation for us all. Ideally the .net forum could work so much better, does this mean the search facilty would find what your looking for. :mrgreen:
 
It's difficult to say really. There is a problem with the sites DNS record, which is how your web browser finds the site.

This can only be fixed by the company that hosts the website on the internet, and only one person (site owner) can contact them.

There is a note on the the ZRoadster.net domain registration which suggests the domain has been put 'on hold'. This could be due to a billing dispute, or just a cock up or a fault.

Until anyone official pops up on the website, we won't know. But according to James (who put this site together), it may not be a very good sign...

Sorry I can't answer that on the grounds that it may reveal functionality that you can't use on the original site :lol:

It will come back in one form or another Jim!

If it comes back as is currently then that will be fine. If James and I can move it forwards in any way possible then it will be better.

The knowledge isn't lost, just the current members :?

Let's hope we can get back to the good old days and the need for this site isn't required in a good way though, no offence Gary as it looks like you have done a good job here ;-)
