M Roadster soft top Hydraulic pump info needed

I have an 02 M roadster and have not been able to find any information about the hydraulic pump that operates the soft top. Can anybody help with what oil is used and the correct level with the roof up or down and the filling process. There is a circle in the middle of he container and I read in a thread that the oil level had to be within the circle, but was not sure whether the reading was with the roof up or down. My roof is folded away and I can see the oil level in the circle. What does that reading mean?

Reading I take is with the roof up. or at least mine is on that level with the roof up.

The fluid you need to use is Pentosin CHF 11S maybe there´s something equivalent but I would use that one.

I have no idea never had to top up myself. i know of this liquid because I originally thought I Had a problem with the fluid level but ended up being the soft top switch
