But professional ones, the roads were even closed off for these boys.
These pics were taken on sara's phone, whilst I was stood on a high point taking pics on the opposite side of the road with the proper camera.
They came through so fast it was hard to capture many shots.
Quite a thing to witness though, we'll watch it on the TV later as we recorded it.

Usually I'd want it to be a sniper rifle Phil, even though I ride a bike myself but these boys deserve respect .

I found myself respecting a few cyclists on the Euro trip. Especially the ones going up the Furkha Pass quicker than me.

It's the tour de France and there was a big entourage that came through a few hours before the bikes. It was like a carnival procession, mainly all sponsorship stuff and they give out freebies like tee shirts, caps, key rings etc, great atmosphere.
