As some of you may have read elsewhere we were at Haven Lakeland last week .
It was my birthday on Friday its was the grandparents last day down so they said they would watch Stuart for us .
So we decided that it would be rude not to do Hardknott pass while in the neighbourhood.
So we headed off from the caravan park talking the b5278 up to the A590 just a few miles along from Lakeland motor museum ( the start for the lakes run )
Then we followed the lakes route past coniston water over birker moore to the Woolpack for a spot of lunch.
