Hi all. I've got my front end about as low as I like it but the back is still too high
What's the lowest lowering springs people have found for the teat of a zed?
Currently got a cheap coilover set on with no adjusters and have about a 1.5-2" arch gap...not good.
I want lowssssss!!!!
(Tyres are 40/17")

Cheers
Darcy

The cheaper end coilover kits tend not to lower much at all over stock, i had one fitted to my last zed and if i remember rightly i used e36 convertible rear lowering springs to get the rear to drop as was dissapointed with the drop on the kit.

The front will go down to the floor but the rear is rubbish. No adjusters in the rear just the spring and still not really dropped.

Been told I have the right springs. Should lower the car 60mm when fitted with the adjusters. (there from a coilover set) Removed the adjusters and still not sitting low. Can't possibly go any lower with these other than taking out the pads.

Eibach lowering springs on mine - 40mm drop. 20mm spacers rear and 5 mm front. I get the odd rub if I go over speed bumps too fast otherwise fine on various surface roads.
Tyres: 225x40ZR18.

The rear doesn't go low at all with the springs that come with the cheap coilover kits, its pretty pointless even fitting them. Better to find a different pair of rear lowering springs, but most of the sets don't go that low if your after a slammed look.

just stick a fat bird in the passenger seat, problem solved for free:woot: on a more serious note though my rear is sky high on 18 35 245 does it effect the handling to drop the rear? my missus would kill me if used a fat bird so thats out of the question for me.

Thats the same as my set up the odd catch but all front and most people trim the arch liners. They never come close to the arches.
As said the rear springs on the cheaper coilover kits will give no drop as a few have experienced including myself .
