Z3 2.8 MOT tomorrow 21years old 19,000 miles, anyone lower mileage for age?
Pre MOT was a polish !,
Doubt there'll be many garage queens with less miles than that. Welcome from near Lincoln.
What a waste of a great car,
That's what I felt when I bought mine at such low mileage, what's the point in owning a car and not use it?
Well my Z has done 94000 and I love it
Was overseas for a while, it was in my garage untouched for seven years, I charged the battery and it started immediately! It ran on seven year old petrol and never missed a beat! Amazing!
Even taking 7 years off it's still not many miles per year . Dont you enjoy driving her? Welcome to the forum btw, my 2.2 is on 186,000 miles and she's only 17 years old.
Yip, but SORN for six months a year, garaged every winter, and not my day car I guess still not a lot of mileage.
Thank God someone is showing me up!. My car has 102000 on it but since its been in my ownership it's only done around 2200 a year and the last 10 months only 1400.
Welcome from Mansfield.
They are meant to be enjoyed, I bought mine at 21,000 miles, it is now on 136,000.
Thats a disgrace! Get and use it, should have post 100k on it by now
Oh come on guys, cut the man some slack....after all someone has to keep some nice low mile dry stored stock ready for us when ours eventually conk out (or you Z4 folk realise the errors of your ways and come looking for a 3 again ).
@Silvertip we need some pics or it never happened
Yes but to be fair Mike you'd go to the opening of an envelope if you could take your Zed
I feel your pain, mine is under her cover in the garage at the mo and has been for circa 6 months a year for the last 3 years. However, when home she gets a good thrashing and she loves it!
Good plate too.
Is that pic taken Tankerton by any chance?
Hi and a big from Southport, although this sounds a bit like the "You were lucky" sketch from Monty Python
Photograph Aberdeen Beach.
I fitted hoops last year other than that it is all original
