My 96 Z3 has been sitting outside for over 7 years. I have lost my keys and don’t want to spend $300-400 at dealer cause I have to spend over $1000 just to replace tires, do a full brake job, most likely fuel pump and filter and other motor and transmission oil maintenance related services. I do have a tumbler from a 2002 BMW 325Ci convertible that I wrecked… would I be able to swap just the tumblers so I can turn the ignition and check its computer what needs to be done to my Z to get it running again?
