Out for a drive today to the Grantchester tea rooms and spin around the Cambridgeshire lanes.Top down, top up, top down, top up again it was a very mixed bag of rain and at one point slushy hail.
So stopped at the Grantchester tea rooms which has yet to be featured in the series on TV at the moment, in beautiful sunshine. Parked the Z up top down and ordered some food, came out and found a chap looking at the Z.
We got talking and he is a Z3 owner from Holland, so gave him a .org card. Not sure if he had heard of ZRoadster but said he would defiantly look us up and say hello, he had done the Monte Carlo rally in his Z.
So this is where it got difficult I told him about the Dutch Z,s and the Black Forest drive coming up in July I believe. Said there were quite a few Dutch members on .org and directed him to the pillar of society known as @hard top.
He recognised that Holland is a very progressive liberal society but made it clear he would check the country,s available data-bases and other institutions before contacting him (I jest of course he was happy to take a recommendation of good character from @M666BMG)
Any way a pic of the Z with the new(ish) wheels outside the tea rooms, will have to arrange a meet up there at some point soon.
