Yesterday, while I was out for lunch, the boys in the workshop removed my hardtop (barstewards)
I got back to work and had to do a double take.
My boss, who has always told me that it was a gays car, has spent all day driving it...? ....but he did fill the tank up. :D

I was happily surprised to see that the soft top and rear window are in near perfect condition, after having spent two and a half years rattling around in the back of the car.

Drove home late last night, parked up, went in the house, put the TV on, got a cold one, sat down and thought 'something is not as it should be' walked back outside and realized that my car did not have a roof.
Took me fifteen minuets to work out how to close the soft top......... :ymblushing:

so does that mean he has 'outed' himself then?

I take offence when people call me gay for having a car like this, my boyfriend on the other hand doesn't seem too bothered. =))

Ahhhh is that what we have to do........... announce we are going to break a rule before we break the rule, well that seems simple enough then :-*

And to prove that I am not tacking the Michael, as Titan thinks.......... [-x

Just leaving the restaurant this evening.

Back home.

Is it normal that you have to pull down really hard on the soft top before you can lock it in place?

As Seasurfer says - yes it is, roof needs to be taut, should be easy enough for you - try being 5' 2" and reaching the passenger one #:-s

So....... do you like your new look and drive :coolsteer)

Yes and no, I think I am going to re-spray the hardtop black and put it back on..... :bulb
It is a feeling of nakedness and not understanding why you are getting wet when you are driving in the rain, as happened tonight...... :-\

But seriously, you cant beat it........... :D

Update.....

It has become apparent to me this evening that my boss has read this thread and is not happy with the fact that I and other forum members think he is gay.
(He does drive a Peugeot though)
The SOB has poured a can of Red Bull in my wind screen washer bottle, you can imagine how the car smells now.......... :ymsick:

Tomorrow, payback......... :ymdevil:
