Passenger window has movement that shouldn't be there. Originally thought same as Z3 with the white clips that are fragile and break (well after 20 years its acceptable) so bought the clips as states Z3 and Z4.
No clips on the Z4 but after a visit to a nice American on you tube he explains how to tighten a loose Z4 window
Remove door card (already off) then peel back the membrane slightly at the bottom corner near the lock there is a hole about 3cm diameter first you need to line up the hole with a 45 torxs bolt, thread the torx screw and tighten. Unfortunately no Torx bolt? after a feel round found bolt in the bottom of the door (so thats what the rattle was)
Fitted bolt tightened, not too much as it secures the glass job done, now its snowing again.
If you have a similar issue the video on You tube explains and shows how in simple English

Have you got a link to the video please Paul? I'll be taking the cards off mine again when it gets a bit warmer as I've ordered some adhesive pads to fit into the door skins. Was it this one?

This is the link but he only talks about the window after he has taken the door card off.
Only 4 screws on the card 2 behind the pull handle cover that just clips off, 1 behind the opening handle behind the cover and 1 hidden behind the Airbag badge, the cover just pulls off, then its trim clips all round 3 sides with the top clipping into the top rubber clips.
electric windows and speaker wires need removing along with the opening cable and the link for the lock button.
Simpels!

Thanks mate, yeah I've had the doors cards off several times but just wanted to see exactly which screw was loose. You put some sound deadening in your doors haven't you?

Yep put some more in today but doesn't stick very well in cold weather. He shows the bolt its a 45tx harder for me as it wasn't where it should have been, you just need to have the window switch wired up so you can line the hole with the bolt.

Cheers mate. Don't plan on doing the sound deadening till it warms up. New contract ongoing is raising the height of the dorr lift mechanism for more headroom in the garage, just in case ;)
