Nothing is ever easy is it? The main wiring harness on the radio is being a right sod!

I understand from @GazHyde "how to" post that the harness takes some effort but so far seems impossible without breaking the plastic clip.

The instructions on top of the harness shows the clip needs to be popped up. The question.. is it raised enough? The channel for the peg on this clip only seems to go half way? (see photos)

If I lever it all the way will it actually free the harness or just snap off?

Would love some advice on this as I'm loosing patience fast.

The clip doesn't pop open any further but the clip can be held open a bit more. I used a screwdriver on the lower rectangular plug and success!!!

Great you got it sorted - it would seem most - if not all of the Zed's plastic push on - pull off harnesses / connectors big or small are proned to sticking - or breaking if too much force is exerted - I have broken a few small connectors.:(

I think the key to these connectors is to lift up the clip as well as pulling the plug off the back of the radio, glad you have it sorted though.
