In the realoem.com pic, you see the standard RS-11 ball pin. Does anyone know the name, part number or dimensions for the extended ball pin (which accommodates both the windscreen under and the Tonneau snap on top)?

Thank you!

Can't find them anywhere that will ship to me, but - for those still looking for this conversion kit:

The Wind Deflector "Rubber" grommet is 7.35mm thick.

Once the Roadster is back from paint correction (woo!) today, I'll measure the existing Tenax stud to see how long it needs to be. ... I'll see if we can't come up with a quick order sheet from McMaster Carr or other - for those trying to chase these down.

Mods - feel free to combine this thread with other Loxx Tenax fastener searches. - apologies... in my ignorance, I didn't even know what to search for.

I'll update when I find something definitive. It seems German Loxx fasteners are the same as used in Guitar "strap-lock" systems... so there is hope to find the longer Tenax in black chrome. After that, the 7.5mm spacer will be easy!

I ordered Loxx Tenax 5/8" and (chrome black) and 7/8" (only in chrome) screws. I was not confident the 5/8" would be long enough. I also ordered an assortment of plastic spacers (4.2mm ID, 7mm OD, 8mm long). I am in for $70US... crazy.

I'll get back to this in 3 weeks or so, and if I get it sorted, I'll post up links to specific items so that folks can source their own.

thanks all-

For posterity and future searchers:

The combo of 7/8" Loxx TENAX fastener and 10mm spacer (4.2mm ID) replicates the function of the original BMW kit.
